December 2001 Pinup - Anastasia

Name/Web Name: Anastasia Heonis; Web name I guess would be Acid PopTart, as it
use to be my DJ name and is now the name of my production company.

Age: Old enough to know, young enough not to care. If you buy me a drink in a
bar, you won't be arrested.

Zodiac Sign: Virgo

Web Site(s) Name: Acid PopTart Productions!, ThrillKitty, Cemetery Girls.

Web Site(s) URL - www.acidpoptart.com, www.thrillkitty.com,
www.cemeterygirls.com.

How long have you been involved in the Internet: Oooh, hmmmm ... about six or
so years.

How long have you been involved in the erotica/modeling/pinup scene: Well, I
began posing as the official Razor model (a comic by London Night Studios)
in 1994 and haven't stopped since! I've brought a lot of comic book
characters to life through conventions, from Catwoman to Rogue of the X-Men
to Lady Rawhide. Then I begin doing a lot of photos that I set up
composition-wise, ranging from Goth to retro. Right now I'm experimenting a
lot.

Did you do modeling coming online: Yes, spot jobs here and there, and
the comic book gig.

How long has your Web site been up, was it hard getting it started,
what inspired your Web site:
It was hard getting it online because I didn't
know a damn thing about HTML! My fianc learned it all and got things going,
I've been gradually learning on the way and have started to do a lot more.
Acid PopTart Productions! was the first site and I think it's been online
for almost a year. ThrillKitty and Cemetery Girls have only been up for
almost a month.

Are your images available on other sites: Yes, most notably
at www.devil-dolls.com, as I am its official cover model now, so you won't
see those pics anywhere else. I'm also at some Bettie Page fan sites and a
few other Goth sites have express interest in obtaining exclusive photos
from me.

Does your site have a pay/members-only section: No, we just want your soul.

What other types of modeling do you do: If I had to label it, mostly Goth and
retro. But I experiment a lot, and if I think it's going to look good
artistically, then I'll do it.

Are you involved in films? If so which, what are they about, how many have
you done:
A few weeks ago, I wrapped up shooting on a film titled The
Calling, based on the life of Reverend Leroy Jenkins. I play the possessed
woman; I wore the ugliest 1960s dress and was burning up in 90 degree-plus
heat in a revival-style tent. The worst part was when I had to vomit ... I do
not want to repeat that! But the entire experience was very rewarding, the
man playing the reverend that "saves" me was the devil from Exorcist 3. It's
rumored that it will be picked up by Miramax. I did a cameo in a horror
sequel to Vamps and was just in a music video for a band called Adam. I've
been contacted for some other horror roles after my performance in The
Calling, as well as some talk about a Goth movie. Also some unreleased music
videos for Razor. I also do costuming and make up.

Have you had any negative experiences from users of your site (hate mail,
etc.):
Nope, I have met nothing but really great people. Most of my negative experiences come from people I've been involved with (>>wicked grin<<), but they'll get
over it.

Have you ever been recognized by a stranger who saw you online:
Yes.

Do you do nudes or porn, or just erotic modeling: Just erotic or tease.

Since you are involved in erotica, how do you feel about porn, do you
think it should be regulated:
I believe in freedom of speech. As long as it
isn't child porn or bestiality or against someone's will. As long as it's
among consenting adults, then I don't see a problem. On a personal level,
there are some really unattractive people in porn! Or maybe it's just not my
taste.

What type of music do you like, favorite bands, what about your favorite
movies:
I listen to a wide range of music, from Mozart to Madonna to DMX to
Depeche Mode to The Cult to The Cure to Siouxsie & the Banshees to Snake
River Conspiracy to New Order to Nine Inch Nails to Harry Connick Jr. to
Heavy Water Factory and the list could go on forever. I just like good
music. Since I've always been involved in dance and taught for a while at
Arthur Murray's Dance Studio, I enjoy everything from swing (yes, I can do
the aerial dance moves) to mamba. I lean toward music with strong passionate
sounds, like a really strong tango that just spills over with sex or a
really energetic swing song, the same with emotional classical pieces. It's one
of the reasons I really fell in love with Goth/industrial/alternative
whatever you wish to call it, but lyrics that you find in Reznor's music and
New Order's and the Cure's are amazing at times. I envy the way Robert Smith
wrote songs. I almost want to kill him for it, how on key he is and how much
he brings to the words. Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me and Disintegration are
two of my favorite albums by them. Wow, and I really just rambled there,
didn't I? I could keep going and bore everyone, so I'll stop on that
subject. As for favorite movies, The Matrix, Romeo Must Die, Dracula
(almost any version), Romeo and Juliet (yes, the one with Leonardo
DiCaprio ... but I was more concerned with it's adaptation and imagery),
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Chasing Amy (and all of Kevin Smith's
films, but that one was closest to me), Night at the Roxbury (sometimes
you just need to laugh), Fifth Element, Gone in 60 Seconds, Girl
Interrupted OK, I could just keep going, but that should give you a
decent idea. I look for the same thing in movies that I do in music,
passion, drama, intensity and in some cases, just stupid humor.

What is "sexy" to you? (some like shiny leather, others white lingerie)
what do think really sexy is:
I adore vinyl, heels, stockings, corsets,
fishnets, boys in eyeliner, and dark crimson lipstick. But the sexiest thing
to me is probably confidence, the ability to really pull off any look
because you can. I've seen some really bizarre things that came off being
sexy because of the model.

Who takes your photos? Are you open for other photo shoots from
professionals:
I've had lots of different photographers, although my favorite
is my fianc, Damion Smith, who takes most of my photographs because we're
able to work together on them in composition. I'm always open to new
photographers.

Are you straight? Bi-sexual? Lesbian? I'm a very sexual person, and currently
engaged.

What is a common question you get from people looking at your photos: Depends
on which photos, really. I always get someone not familiar with what I do
asking (insert redneck accent here), "Are you one of those Goth girls?" or
"Are you a vampire?"

What else do you do for fun, what is your day like: Well, what I do for fun
and what a typical day is for me isn't usually the same! My days are pretty
busy, beginning with the feeding of our new puppy in the morning and coffee
for me, e-mail correspondence in the morning. Depending on freelance jobs
that are pending, you may find me writing, painting, designing, working on
the computer or setting up photo shoots where I may be the photographer or
the model. Running my own magazine keeps every available moment filled, with
talking to printers and getting the best quote, potential advertisers,
setting up new shoots with new models and laying the entire thing out. I
don't get to bed till very late, and get up early to start all over again.
I'm a workaholic. All the things I do, I do for fun and to make my living.
But to truly just relax, I like to go out with my fianc and our dog,
Krypto, to the caves outside of town and explore. Or go shopping and catch a
movie. I love to go out dancing, but the clubs here absolutely suck. When we
do conventions, we get a chance to relax and just go out. As frightening and
boring as it may seem, curling up with a vegetarian pizza and a good movie
with my sweetie is a really good way for me to unwind.

Please give us a sentence or statement for your fans or potential new
visitors:
Life is but a stage, and we are all actors; I play many roles.
