November 2001 Pinup - Eve Ellis
EE: I was a cocktail waitress at a huge dinner, dancing, and billiards club. I worked there for a year. A lot of celebs hung out there, and there were a lot of " wrap" parties. (End of filming a movie party.) I was a great waitress, but I got fired...they fired me for "stealing" (I didn't), they accused me of adding $2.00 to my tip on a credit card slip! What a joke! So I couldn't find another job as a waitress, (it's competition in L.A.) I was going broke, no leads, and getting worried. So I picked up the local paper and started looking for jobs. I answered an ad for "nude modeling", (I thought it was for an art / sculpture class at a college.) WRONG! I ended up at an agency, (I won't mention.) They got me two jobs, and then they started sending me to porno shoots telling me that they weren't. (Thinking that I would just do it or something, I didn't.) One of the two jobs that they did get me was a " HOM" shoot. (Hand over mouth.) That is where I met Ariel Cole...We worked together and she was so nice to me. J After the shoot she gave me three bondage producers phone #'s, and I've been working ever since...I don't know what ever happened to Ariel, But I do want her to know that she helped me a lot. I probably wouldn't be doing what I'm doing right now if it weren't for her. Q: What made you decide to start www.eveellis.com? EE: I was trying to start my site for over a year before it actually fell into place. People would say they wanted to help put it together, start to work on it, and then disappear. I went through so many people until finally a company who had several running & successful sites offered to do mine under contract. I did it, and have been with them ever since... the internet/websites were just what 'we' were supposed to do, and a good way to expand anyone's line of work. Lot's of overnight success stories helped too :) Q: How often do you find yourself surfing the web, and what are your favorite sites? EE: I surf daily,
unless I'm shooting all day. My favorite sites? That depends
on what I'm doing... shopping, working, webmaster/model resources...
I guess I would have to say my favorite are artists, it's
always fun to look at art & photography sites. I like Yahoo
too. Q: Do you get a kick out of the fact that there are so many people looking at your pictures? EE: I never really thought about the fact that there are 'so many', I don't feel like there are. Funny J Q: Is your family accepting of your profession, and do they visit your site? Your personal non-work friends? EE: Yes, my family
completely respects my work (they don't necessarily understand
it, but respect it). My non-work friends... there are noneJ Q: If you went to a high school reunion sometime soon would you tell people what you do and ask them to visit your site? EE: I've thought about that for a long time... but it turns out that it's a pretty big topic amongst people I went to school with already... they all know or have seen the site already. I don't really keep in contact with anyone from HS except 1 person. Q: When you were in grade school what did you plan to be when you "grew up"? EE: An entertainer
of some sorts. I collected lingerie pieces with C cups and
saved them for some reason... I wear those pieces now... I
knew, without really knowing details. EE: Lots! Some I like to keep to myself, that's how I operate. Some I've done, some I'm working on doing. Right now I'm doing what I want, but I want to get more exposure (no pun intended ;) Q: If you knew
what you know now and could go back to the time that you were
18, what would you change and why? Q:
Are you happy? What brings you the most happiness in your
life? |
