Former NOCTURNUS, MORBID ANGEL and ACHERON drummer/vocalist Mike Browning has brought forth new life with AFTER DEATH, the band created in 2000 A.D. This is a band like no other, and it defies categorization. Its roots lie in old-style thrash/death metal, creating a sound unlike any other band out there.
The music is heavy but, unlike the vocals of many other bands, decipherable, and they actually have meaning to them. AFTER DEATH wants you to hear the messages being brought forth. With the addition of Lisa the Wolf on keyboards and backing vocals, the band possesses an ethereal atmosphere to go along with the life-altering lyrics. Mike Browning plays the theremin (for those of you who don't know what that is, Jimmy Page played one in Led Zeppelin), and, along with his drumming and vocal abilities, gives the band even more of an eerie element flowing in and out of the powerful thrash metal rhythms.
