Toosquare hit the club scene all month long, checking out various shows. One of my favorites this month was The Flogging Molly show.

The first band to open was the Turbo Ac's.

I snapped some cool shots of this band and they were pretty cool dudes. I sampled a few songs at their site prior to the show, and looked forward to seeing them play. They were nice and hard, just the way I like it. No bullshit hard edged rock. The Blitz tune "someones gonna die tonight" they covered was great. The Slackers were a change in gear. This ska influenced soulful sounding band brought a mellow feel to the atmosphere yet they still rocked out. Various instruments and seven members keeps this band flavorful and melodic.

Flogging Molly is an Irish/Punk band that kicks ass. Their music is tough as nails with a traditional Irish style that really grabs you. As for Flogging Molly…… Well the crowd was a bit rowdy and my camera was having technical difficulties. So, I cruised up to the balcony section with my friends for some drinks. I had a great view of the band and the "pit". I was able to snap a few pics before my camera died. As you can see from the pit shots, this band doesn't play around.It was a great show!
